Antique reproduction Punch and Judy puppet dolls- Hand sculpted OOAK

Just for fun I made an antique style Punch and Judy puppet set. They are real working puppets! I sculpted them from Polymer clay and handmade their clothes and bodies with mostly vintage materials. I also made custom wooden stands for display. These are currently up for auction on Ebay. The auction will end this Wednesday at about 11:00am. If you are interested in owning these truly one-of-a-kind puppets, view my auction at:

Exciting New Doctor Who related items in my shop!

I have been busy, but have recently added a few new items to my Esty shop ( https://www.etsy.com/shop/netherworldoddities )
I have made a series of Doctor Who related sculptures. I am a big fan of Doctor Who and just decided that I wanted to make some alien that have been featured on the show. If I don't sell them in my shop, then I will just keep them! I was very happy with the way they all turned out.
I made a memory worm and Mr. Sweet from last season's episodes and a few Dalek alien creatures. Let me know your thoughts.

Video- Creating/sculpting a Goblin creature PLUS my hand hair rooting process!

This video highlights the processes I used to create this custom Goblin creature. The total time to make him was about 10 hours. I use a hand rooting process using genuine mohair. I was really happy with the way this one turned out, he's really cute. He was about 6 inches tall.

The video is below:

So.... this is a kinda long video of me sculpting a cephalopod creature. It actually took about 5 hours of sculpting, but I made the video about 25mins..sorry if it's boring!

Weird Art....Some past creations

I started sculpting this year in January.....just for fun. At the same time I opened my store on Etsy: Netherworld Oddities, which has been more popular than I ever expected. I guess there are a lot of people out there who, like me, are amused by the weird and creepy.

So here are some photos of a few of my past creations from earlier this year....Enjoy!

Welcome to my blog!

Welcome, I decided to create this blog to showcase the "behind the scenes" of my creations that I sell in my Etsy shop: Netherworld oddities. A lot of people ask me how I make my creatures and what I use to make them, so I will be sharing all that information here, along with photos and video.

If you are a fellow artist of weird art, feel free to share with me your creations and how they are made. I love to share my techniques and learn new ones, I am always learning and adapting my techniques.

Enjoy and don't forget to leave comments and suggestions too!
